Brazil Guide

Brazil vacations are an exciting time in an exciting place, from the Rio Carnival in February to exploring the rain forest in October. There are of course some concerns which go with travelling to South America. Just as with the USA gun crime is pretty high and it can be dangerous in some areas of the cities at nighttime however as long as you stay in the tourist areas and have a good map you'll find it as safe as any other city.

How To Get To Brazil?

Brazil is the largest country in South America encompassing almost a third of the continent. It has huge cities such as Rio and Saul Paulo and the worlds major rain forest. The capital Brasilia is probably the least know of the cities but its still a nice place for a visit.

What To Do In Brazil?

In the second week of February there is the little know event called the Rio Carnival. This is the biggest and best carnival in the World and is a street party not to be missed. The prices do go up around that time naturally, but the experience is worth it.

When To Go To Brazil?

Brazil has a rather varied climate which can change drastically throughout the year, especially in the south. Brazil is of course in the southern hemisphere so the seasons are reversed compared to Europe. The south of Brazil in the winter can experience average temperatures of between 13°C and 18°C. In the summer time (December to February) however its a very different story. Rio is hot and humid with the temperature often reaching a high of 30°C but the rest of the year temperatures usually average around 25°C.
